The Hooligans are the HYPE SQUAD on PLNU’s campus. We are a group of students who are extremely energetic, loving, characteristic, goofy, silly, and loud (not in that specific order). We channel this energy to help promote school spirit! You can usually find us in front of the Green Sea (Loma’s student section) at sporting events, promoting other clubs/ events, hosting dodgeball tournaments, or simply making fools out of ourselves around campus. We are committed to making every student feel wanted and welcomed, but most importantly know that they make up and hold a little chunk of what it means to be a Sea Lion.

Most Important: Be proactive and HAVE FUN
"As Vice President, I am looking for dedicated students to work as senators. Students who wish to make an impact on students' lives as well as the campus in general. People who can lift up and bring voices of all students and create creative solutions to problems surrounding students"
- Caleb Pak | Vice President 2020–2021
"If Loma is my family, and Chapel is my home, Senate has quickly become the treehouse in my college life; a place where the most adventurous, creative thinking has transpired with the most radical gang of loving kids, all constantly on the search to tackle the next big challenge to make campus life better everyday."
- Sam Keller | Freshman Class Senator
"Passionate about the student body and environmental care, I was eager to work on ASB to further sustainability efforts on campus! Not only has this experience allowed me to gain valuable skills interacting with staff and faculty at PLNU, but through Senate, I have helped spark important change on campus. On Senate, we are fortunate to represent the student body. Collaborating with all of Senate, we work together to make important decisions at PLNU! It’s an incredible joy and blessing to participate in the work that Senate does. I am so thankful for my time and this experience!"
- Emily Jenkins | Senior Class Senator

Senators are the backbone of student government. They are the ones who create legislation and plans that impact the school and the lives of all current and future students. We encourage those who have a longing for creative and innovative minds to apply and run for the Senate so that impactful change can continue to occur! The incoming ASB leaders have an unprecedented chance to rebuild our community after a time of being disjointed.
