Spiritual mentoring creates an opportunity to share life with another in intentional, Christ-centered relationships. These one-on-one encounters provide the space for fruitful spiritual growth for the mentor and mentee. In mentorship relationships, both individuals grab a paddle as they journey together.
MINISTRY WITH MEXICO

Out of a desire to love God and neighbor, Ministry with México exists to contribute to shared life within our dynamic cross-cultural context through building and sustaining genuine relationships.
We create a space for the widening and challenging of perspectives, which encourages steps toward serving and living justly. PLNU students, faculty, staff, or alumni sponsors are invited to attend our trips throughout the school year.
PLNU Ministry With Mexico has postponed international travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue our PLNU community commitment to our border neighbors through creative virtual opportunities. In the meantime, we encourage you to sign up for our monthly newsletter to receive updates from Ministry with Mexico.

Community Ministries' volunteer groups serve in various locations throughout San Diego, serving with a variety of people groups. We pray that every PLNU student will find a place where they enjoy serving amongst the variety of options. No special skills or abilities are required, just a desire to give, receive, and be blessed by the rich relationships formed in Christian ministry, and the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ here on earth. We provide transportation and student leaders that oversee each ministry outing, and partner with amazing nonprofit organizations here in San Diego that invite us and are excited to have us join them in their work.
We encourage you to email the ministry you are interested in serving with in advance to get on their weekly email list. Student leaders will communicate any volunteer info and send out weekly sign up lists. Space is limited and we will try our best to accommodate everyone who wants to participate, and/or help you find a ministry with openings.
