Media Board
The Media Board which consists of The Point, Point Radio, The Mariner, Point TV, Driftwood, and Lomabeat, is an immensely unique way in which students can connect with what is happening on campus. Through these various creative media outlets students can learn more about what is happening on campus as well as see the wonderful things that students are doing and creating. Look through these various sources to get a whole new angle and perspective to life at Loma!

Driftwood is the literary arts journal of PLNU! Every year we publish work from students, faculty, and alumni in a print journal available for purchase in the spring. "Literary arts" includes poetry, fiction, nonfiction, art, photography, music, and short film! We seek to collect art and put it together in a journal that represent's PLNU's talent and creativity.

Point Radio is PLNU's on-campus radio station where students have the opportunity to produce their very own radio shows, podcasts, or live acoustic sets! Point Radio strives to create a close community through their Groovin' at the Point concerts each semester, where students gather to listen to live music from local artists and bands.

Point TV is the on campus TV studio that encompasses the heart of the film program. We host student film screenings, news show tapings, and a cumulative festival at the end of the year for all student films and shows.

The Point, PLNU's campus newspaper and website (lomabeat.com), is a student-run publication that keeps students, faculty, and staff up-to-date on campus happenings, from the latest on-campus events to the most compelling student stories. It provides a hands-on opportunity for students to inform the campus community. The paper has won awards from the San Diego Society of Professional Journalists, the San Diego Press Club, the Evangelical Press Association, and the Associated Collegiate Press.
