Student Recommendation: Annie VanderWeide

  • Book Recommendation:

    • Present Darkness by Frank Peretti

  • Why does she recommend it?:

    • "I highly recommend this book because, although it is fictional, it contains many truths about the spiritual realm. It changed the way I look at the world around me, my awareness of spiritual warfare, and my view of prayer. It is a great reminder that we have a very real and active enemy who is seeking to tear us away with the Lord, but we also have a God who fights for us. Aside from all that, it is just a very well written and entertaining book! Hope you enjoy it!"

Student Recommendation: Isaac Wold

  • Youtube Recommendation:

  • Why does he recommend it?:

    • “Luke 22:25-26 MSG translation reads:“Kings like to throw their weight around and people in authority like to give themselves fancy titles. It’s not going to be that way with you. Let the senior among you become like the junior; let the leader act the part of the servant."It has been my experience that the more you serve others, the better the outcome of your life will be. John C. Maxwell brings this idea home in this inspiring talk. "
