A Message from your ASB Vice President

Hi I am Caleb Pak. I am originally from San Dimas, CA. I am super thankful that I get to live in the San Diego area this semester. I am a Finance major with a Biology minor. This is my last year at Point Loma, as I am a senior this year. One fun fact about me is that I can play the Saxophone. I am so excited to be your ASB Vice President this year and make changes around campus.

As your Vice President I have one personal goal and several concrete goals for the academic year of 2020-2021. I wish you could all be here with me today on campus. It is my praying wish that this may happen in the Spring. This beautiful place has given me so much and I wish very much that you all can receive the gifts the school has given me.

My overarching and most personal goal I wish to do is to give each Point Loma student the gift that Point Loma has gifted me; a sense of purpose and a goal/snapshot of what all your futures could and will look like. As God’s image bearers we all have a purpose and gifts to fulfill those purposes. Your time here is a place to cultivate your minds and your relationship with your fellow students and God.

As Vice President I am in charge of the ASB Senate. With this role in mind I want to make sure that we have a focus on creating spaces and activities (both live and not) that allow all students to connect with each other.

The ASB Board of Directors and Senate are working hard to make sure we provide programing that is prevalent to all students and to make sure that new and current bonds may form. This part is especially important for Freshman since Freshman year is the time where most students make connections that develop into long-term friendships.

Lets have a great year!

Caleb Pak

ASB Vice President
